Product details
Copper conducts electricity and heat very well and resists corrosion. It is traded at several stages: concentrate for smelters, refined cathodes, and semi-finished forms such as wire rod and ingots.
Copper Cathodes
Refined copper plates, the main traded form of refined copper. Buyers commonly reference LME Grade A (e.g. BS EN 1978 Cu-CATH-1) when specifying cathodes.
Copper Concentrate
Sulfide ore concentrate for copper smelters. Offers state copper content, precious metal content and impurity levels.
Copper Wire Rod
Continuous cast copper rod, drawn into wire for electrical cables and windings. Commonly specified to standards such as ASTM B49 or EN 1977.
Copper Ingots
Cast copper ingots for remelting, alloy production and foundry use.
